Congrats!

It's that time of the year again. As you can
tell I have been busy making graduation cards
for everyone. This one I made was for a
good friend of mine for an 8th grade girl. I'll be
making more of these.
Well, last night I went to see the movie
Sex and the City. What a Hoot! The movie
was real funny and a great one. But the
crowds of people who were there were amazing. First of all we had to park about a block away. When we went inside the first movie wasn't over yet so we had to wait with about a thousand people, mostly girls. It was so crowded you literally were shoulder to shoulder. So many of them were all dressed up just like the girls in the movie.
It was a great people watching moment.
After the movie as we were leaving there were coach buses lined up to pick of the crowds as well as limo after limo. Unbelievable!! What a following this show has. I have only seen about 5 episodes and didn't realize how popular it was. It is worth seeing, a good chick flick. So, that was my entertainment for Friday night. Tonight we are heading downtown Chicago for a good dinner with a great group of friends. I don't think I have had this much weekend excitement in a long time. Have a great weekend, yourself, and thanks for stopping by!!

Belated First Communion

I have 2 neices who made their communions the last couple of weeks and we couldn't make either one. Here is the card I made both of them and a little belated. However the didn't turn it down once they opened it up. I don't know the name of the cross stamp because I stamped a bunch of them last year from a friend of mine. I used the cuttlebug folder for the pink paper, I just love those cuttlebugs. Simple but done!
Well, today was another baseball tournament and we came in second place. Yipee!! The games were so close and awesome to watch. (Can you tell I like baseball?). Anyway, just 6 more days left of school and we are all counting down. So, have a great week and thanks for checking in!!

Celebrate!

I just had to make a card using the diplomabella stamp I bought last winter. I am also trying new ways to post my cards so don't mind any bad pictures I take. I am a little (or a lot) computer illiterate. I scanned this card but have no idea how I managed to get it on here. I still have a lot of computer skills to learn. Have a great holiday weekend.

Happy Graduation!

Just a quick post today and off to a baseball game! (Of course we have to do a little shopping at a great outlet mall first)! Have a great weekend!!

Cheers to You!!

Well, here is the card I mentioned before. My stamping group decided it would be fun to stamp the same image and each of us make a card with it and see what each one of us come up with. So here is mine. I just love this image and may have to get one for myself. Be sure to stop by their blogs and see what they created. You can link on to them from my links on the side.

Casey's Classmates

Like I said before, Casey has a ton of great pictures she took at school (she squeezes classes in between) and I need to get scrapping them. When I saw this papet at Archivers I thought it was perfect for her pictures. This was a real simple page since all I added was the orange paper but it turned out pretty good. When the pages are side by side in the book it looks much better. So, that's all I have for today. Be sure to check back tomorrow. Our stamping group decided that each one of us has to make a card using the same image and post it tomorrow. It will be fun seeing what we all come with. So be sure to check back in the next few days. Have a great night!!

Fathers Day (I know I'm early)

So, what do you think?! Don't you just love the staging of this card?!Last night our stampin' group got together for some image swaps and a little card making. Well, they were all not on the ball so I got dibs on posting this one but I was told that I couldn't post it unless it was staged (thanks for that one JoAnn). So here it is! This is actually a gift card holder which the project
came from Kim over at Craftyme. It was a little confusing at first but once we got down to business and stopped laughing it all came together. I think this is a great graduation card idea. This golf stamp set came for the Angel Company and the paper is all SU.
I am going to post some of my scrapping pages real soon and then back to card making. I have quite a few graduation and communion cards to do for some orders. Thanks for checking in and have a great rest of the weekend!
