THANKS

Quick post tonight. I just came back from dinner with the (greatest) teachers ever and I can hardly hold my eyes open . But of course I can for a post or some surfing. Have a great weekend!

Hey Girlfriend!

I just love this image. There is so much you can do with it. So therefore, I have plans on making more with the girls. Pink and brown are one of my favorite color combos so sorry if you see a lot of it here on my blog. I broke down and bought a starter box of Copics and here is my first card I made using my markers. I have a long way to go using them but that gives me an excuse to color more. Yippee! (Boy I feel like I am one of my first graders when it comes to coloring!)
All the paper is from SU including the blue patterned paper.
On another note, did I mention that I am going to go to Vegas on Easter Sunday! With all the awful weather we have been having all winter and with being sick most of January I felt I needed a warm break. So off we are. Plus it is my husbands birthday present. We are in for another storm right now (3-9 inches of more dreadful snow). Needless to say, I CAN'T WAIT! Then when we come back I have a trip planned for Orlando to see a great friend and teaching partner. Thanks, Meg, for moving to Florida! There are 4 of us teachers flying down in April for a long weekend and I'm sure all we'll do is relax, eat, drink and LAUGH! Doesn't that sound good right about now? I'm just praying the next several weeks go real fast. Anyway, have a great week and thanks for stopping by.

HELLO

Here is a quick post for the day. The stamp is from MFT and the sentiment is for the dollar bin at Micheals. The paper is tempting torquoise and the red patterned paper is DCWV packet. Hope everyone is having a geat day off (thanks Mr. President!). Take care!

CELEBRATE

Here is a quick post for today. I made this card for my son's 13th birthday. I wasn't sure if he liked it until I took it off his dresser to take a picture of it and he said "Hey, whatcha doing with that?" I guess he did like it. I'm not sure what the Bella name is for this guy but he is real cool, isn't he? The paper is night of navy and the sentiment is from the $1 bin from Michaels. The striped paper is from DCWV packet. Have a great weekend!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

Here is a real simple card. I figured if I go back to simple cards I would get alot more done (duh!). I added a little bling to the sentiment, but it's hard to tell and it's popped up. Oh well!
I hope everyone has a great Valentine's Day. This day is as much fun as Halloween for the kids at school. They just love passing out their cards and the treats that go along with them. By the way, did I mention I now have 2 teenagers in the house? Yep! Yesterday was my son's birthday and he turned 13. I guess here come the hardest years of our lives (I've been told) but if my parents made it through with 11 teenagers I guess I can make it through 2. Maybe my upcoming trip to Florida will make it easier!! So, have a great rest of the week .

SMILE

Isn't this stamp a riot?! It came from Pink Cat Studio. If you haven't checked them out yet what are you waiting for? They have some really fun stamps. I used all SU paper for this card and the ribbon came from JoAnn Fabrics. I put a little bling on the bows, it might be hard to see. Well, I'm heading out for the night, yep, in the snow again! We are due for 3-6 more inches tonight and the weather guy just said two more storms are heading our way before next week. We have not had this much snow in Chicago in several years. As soon as one storm comes and goes the next one heads in. I guess I should stop complaining because before you know it the heat will be here and I'll be wishing for the cold back. So enough is enough. Anyway, take care and thanks for looking!

PMSABELLA

See what happens when I go back to school? No
postings! Isn't that aweful! It's just too hard to
get some stamping done on school days. Here is
a card I made last weekend. I ordered some more Bellas and Pink Cat Studio stamps and as
soon as they arrived I got busy. More stamping
is planned for tonight, the girls are coming back
to my house tonight for more stamping, laughs
and snacks (boy, this Weight Watchers will never
work this way-lol)! Anyway, just one basketball
game today and on to the rubber!!
The stamp is pmsabella, the orange paper is
pumpkin pie and I used my cuttlebug for the swirls. The ribbon is from M and the saying is
also a Bella saying. I colored it in with my
Prisma watercolors (I'm not real thrilled with the coloring, but oh well! This was a real fun stamp to work with . If anyone is wondering which Bella to order this is a great one. Well, have a great weekend and stay warm. More snow and bitter cold weather is predicted around here, again.

SNOW DAY 2

I just wanted to share a few pictures of our snow day. Casey took Bruno outside and once he was in the snow he could barely move(it was kind of funny). As we were shoveling the snow
was still coming down so of course, I finally gave up halfway down the driveway. These pictures are expecially for all my warm weather blogging buddies. See what you are missing!! Enjoy!

Snow Day!!

Well, this is not one of my favorite cards. I think I really messed up on the fur on her hood. However, today is a perfect day to post it. We are in the middle of a major snowstorm and so far we have 8 inches of snow. I just came in from shoveling. Boy, I forgot how hard that is (our snowblower petered out on us on the last snowstorm and we haven't bought a new one). Today we even have off of school. Last I heard on the news was that over 900 schools or districts are off today. That is really weird for us here in Chicago because we are use to alot of snow. But, oh well, I could always use another day off!! Hopefully, the snow will stop long enough to get to a SU party tonight. Yep, I think I have my priorities in the place. Don't you?! So, stay warm and dry and STAMP AWAY!!
