Isn't this guy cute?! He is from Rubbernecker Stamps. This card was made for my nephew who turned 6. He loves to play ball. The pictures lately haven't turned out that great. Sometimes if I zoom in too close they are all blurry and I don't notice it until I print the picutes. Maybe it's time for a new camera (or photographer). Anyway, enjoy the card and thanks so much for stopping by.

Warm Winter Hello
Just when I thought the snow was gone (everything melted) it snowed again today. I know, it's January in Chicago but a girl can hope!! I thought this would be a good card for a day like today. The snowman image is from Rubbernecker. It's a good one. I haven't done much stampin' lately, I've been getting headaches like crazy lately. Once the headache hits there's no doing anything. As soon as the headaches are under controll I'll get back to the stamps. Pray that it very soon.
So, have a great week and thanks for stopping by.

Think Pink
Here is a card I made for my neighbor who was just diagnosed with breast cancer. The stamp set is from MFT. The pink paper is from SU and the rest is left over paper I had. I just wanted to let her know we are praying for her. Well, we're back in the swing of school again after the holidays and it feels like I never even had a break. However, we are off this coming Monday for MLK day. Yippee!! It sure sounds like I don't like going to school. That's not true. It's just nice to have a Monday off now and then. I'm hoping to get some stampin' done this weekend. So, have a great weekend and day off on Monday (if you are one of the lucky ones)!

Patriotic Cards, Why Now?!
I'm sure you're wondering why these cards this time of year. Well, our kindergarten teacher's son joined the army and my class adopted him and will be sending him cards and pictures over the next many months. He came in to visit our class before Christmas and the kids were excited to meet him and put a face to the soldier we'll be sending things to. So here are some cards I made for his mom to send to him. I made several more cards and will post them as time goes on. They are not all patriotic. I'm sure he will appreciate any mail he receives. The kids are all excited to be sending letters to him.
Well, we here in Chicago are in for another major snowstorm tomorrow and the rest of the week. Of course, right when we all go back to school after the holidays. I wasn't feeling well the whole time off (severe migraines) and today is the first day I feel better and now I have to do school work, go figure! So I'm off to get something done. Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Birthday, Mike!
This is a birthday card I made for my brother Michael. He turned 60, yikes!! All the paper is from SU, the stamp is from Great Impressions and the ribbon is from Target's dollar bin (it's self stick). So, how was everyone's New Years Eve? Mine was very uneventful. I have a major sinus infection and have had a headache since Monday. So I've been sleeping alot and 2010 came and went and I didn't even know it. I'm trying to get some stamping in here and there. Anyway, have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by.
