The whole time we were trying to devise a plan on rescuing our books. After about a half hour of hiding we were able to come out and continue. The tornadoes ended up going a little farther south than we were, but the skies were black, the wind was unbelievable and the rain never seemed to end. What an exciting day that was! That is the midwest in June for ya!!
I'm going to try to get back into the cards as soon as I can. My mother was just diagnosed with lung cancer and had surgery today and it went well. Since I'm home for the summer I'll be over helping her out quite a bit, so that is my excuse for lack of cards. I'm still trying to understand this cancer, she never smoked a day in her life. I guesss it really doesn't discriminate. She is the first one in our family as far back as I know who has cancer. So, I just ask that you keep her in your prayers. We all believe in the power of prayer. Thanks for listening to me rattle on and thanks for checking in.
The paper is great for the layout. My thoughts and prayers are with your mother and family, hope she has a speedy recovery and is quickly on the road to well being.
